Our Centres
We have two different centres at The Children's Garden conveniently located around the corner from each other.
Each centre is designed to meet the needs of a specific age group. See below for information about each centre and photos showing you around.
BABIES AND TODDLERS CENTRE
Our Babies and Toddlers centre is located at 64 Victory Street in Welcome Bay. In this centre, we specialise in catering for children from birth to three years of age, with a license for 25 children with a limit of only 10 infants (0 – 2 years old). We offer a safe space for our crawling children and a dedicated sleep room with cots for the youngest ones.
We have a strong focus on nurturing each child’s sense of belonging. Our teachers get to know each child as a unique individual and our superb ratios allow for this.
Our oldest children are encouraged to connect with nature through bush kindy. Growing vegetables and fruit for baking and soup making are regularly included in the program. Natural resources are used to grow your child’s sense of joy, wonder and understandings about their world.
Our children transition from here to our preschool centre on Pamir Place whenever is best for the child. This decision is made in partnership with our families.
Our dedicated sleep room - a safe quiet space perfect for nap times after a busy morning of play.
PRESCHOOL CENTRE
Our Preschool centre is located at 4 Pamir Place in Welcome Bay. It’s handy location is within walking distance of Selwyn Ridge Primary School. This centre specialises in children aged three to five years old.
We believe it's important for all children to build strong relationships with each other and with their teachers. Your child’s sense of belonging and contribution is well supported.
Our philosophy has a strong focus on extending each child’s strengths and interests within a natural and nurturing environment. Your child’s unique needs are supported by fully qualified teachers and our on-site manager.
Our preschooolers love their Bush Kindy excursions into the Johnson's Reserve each week. We also have an excellent transition to school program to ensure your child is happy and confident when they start school.
Bush Kindy is the highlight of the week. There's nothing better than getting out into nature and soaking in the fresh air, the perfect excursion for growing minds.
